About Us | Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel near Windermere Lake

Lindeth Fell was built in 1909 primarily as a private residence. It was converted by the current owners, the Kennedy Family is the late 1970s and has been open to guests ever since.

Of course the hotel has changed radically over those years to meet the needs to customers with high expectations and the family and their dedicated team attempt to achieve this every day.

Initially Pat and Diana Kennedy puchased the land and building and set about converting it into Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel. Over the years, the next generation of Kennedy's have been involved in maintaining the high culinary and service standards. With the ongoing support of Pat and Diana, one of their daughters, Sheena Kennedy manages the business on a day to day basis, with the help of General Manager Linda and her kitchen, housekeeping, serving, garden and maintenance team.
