Lindeth
Fell is one mile south of the centre of Bowness on the A5074,
the Lyth Valley road, and just two miles from Windermere railway
station. Car and taxi hire can be arranged.
From the North
Leave the M6 at Junction 40, near Penrith and follow the A592
via Ullswater and Kirkstone Pass to Bowness. Opposite St. Martin's
Church in Bowness, turn left and follow A5074 Lancaster/Lyth
Valley road. After travelling for a mile you will find Lindeth
Fell on the left.
From the South
Leave the M6 at Junction 36. Take the A590/591 for 8 miles to
Kendal north roundabout. Take the first left onto the B5284
for another 8 miles through Crook to T-Junction with A5074 (Lyth
Valley Road) near Bowness. Turn left and Lindeth Fell is 200
yards on the left.
Lindeth Fell is ideally located to take advantage of the natural
beauty of the English Lake District. There are many attractions,
historic houses and castles, as well as the abundance of lakes,
