Well another year begins! This is the programme for our New Year house Party 2012. We had a wonderful two days and look forward to many of our guests coming back to us to celebrate the start of 2013. Do let us know if you would like to be sent details when they are ready!

The Lindeth Fell 2 day New Year House Party

To celebrate New Year at Lindeth Fell is to enjoy two days relaxing in a warm, friendly, house party atmosphere, with delicious food, in comfortable surroundings, amidst stunning Lakeland scenery.

31st December 2011

Arrive in good time for our delicious full Lakeland afternoon tea served at 4.30pm. Relax after your journey in front of a log fire, with a selection of sandwiches, followed by delicious scones with jam and cream, shortbread, sandwich cake, meringues and biscuits, all home made at Lindeth Fell.
Meet your fellow guests over pre dinner cocktails with canapés. Black tie is optional.
Our six course candle lit dinner is served at 8.30pm. At midnight we greet the New Year with champagne and Auld Lang Syne, followed by a taster of haggis, tatties and neeps!

1st January 2012

You may prefer a slightly later brunch this morning, the first of the New Year.
You then have the day ahead to enjoy as you wish.
We offer tickets for a heated cruise on Lake Windermere. Sail north up towards Ambleside to enjoy stunning views of the Langdale Pike mountains en route. We can provide a complimentary picnic lunch, and we have maps and routes for walks of every description, or there are some beautiful circular drive routes starting from Lindeth Fell. If you prefer the warmth of a roaring log fire, stay and relax in the lounges with the Lindeth Fell New Year Quiz. Prize winners will be announced tomorrow!
Enjoy cocktails and canapés from 7.00pm. Our 5 course candle lit dinner will be served at 7.30pm.

2nd January 2012

Time for farewells after a final hearty Lakeland breakfast, with best wishes for the year ahead.

Extending your stay

You may like to extend your stay by a day or two, either before or after New Year. We are perfectly situated for exploring the Lakes on foot or by car, and on a bright clear winter’s day with snow on the tops of the Fells there is no where more beautiful. Or simply come to relax and recuperate. Normal Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rates apply. Please contact us for further details.

All prices as per person [for the two-night stay] and are based on 2 sharing:

£355   Master Room

Terms and Conditions:

A deposit of £100.00 per person is required to confirm bookings.
Should a confirmed reservation be cancelled, the deposit will be retained.
If the accommodation is not re-let then a cancellation fee of the total accommodation will be levied as follows:

Six weeks prior to arrival: 10%

Five weeks prior to arrival: 25%

Four weeks prior to arrival: 50%

Three weeks prior to arrival: 75%

Less than two weeks: full amount
