dining-rooms extend along the lake side of the house to give
diners panoramic views of the garden, Lake Windermere and the
mountains beyond.
Cooking is under the supervision of Diana Kennedy and is in
the modern English style, but special diets can be catered for.
Home-made soups, roast meats and English puddings are specialities
from menus which offer a wide choice and are changed daily to
use the finest fresh local produce.
