Breakfast Menu
Non residents are welcome for breakfast by reservation. We serve between 8am and 10am. Cost: £17.50 per person.
FROM THE BUFFET
Cold Drinks:
- Freshly squeezed orange juice
- Apple juice
Hot Drinks:
- Freshly brewed Farrer’s regular or decaffeinated coffee
- Farrer’s Lakeland Special Tea
- Assorted flavoured teas & infusions
- Hot chocolate
To Start:
- A selection of cereals and muesli
- Home-made granola
- Compote of Earl Grey tea soaked prunes
- Segments of fresh grapefruit
- Cinnamon infused soaked apricots
- Home-made unsweetened Greek style thick and creamy plain yoghurt
- Assorted fruit yoghurts
To warm you up:
- Oatmeal porridge served with honey, brown sugar or cream on the side
- Wholemeal or white toast
- Freshly baked warm croissant
To try:
- Mrs Kennedy’s homemade marmalade
- Strawberry jam
FROM THE GRILL
Lindeth Grill:
Woodall's Cumberland sausage and cured back bacon, Bury black pudding, grilled vine ripened tomato and sautéed field mushrooms, with poached, scrambled or fried local Bannerigg free range eggs
Vegetarian Lindeth Grill:
Vegetarian sausage, home-made rösti potato, baked beans, grilled vine ripened tomato, sautéed field mushrooms with poached, scrambled or fried local Bannerigg free-range eggs
Or
Pan-fried Halloumi with roasted vine-ripened cherry tomatoes and fresh basil
Or one of the following:
- Two softly boiled eggs with soldiers (V)
- Whole kipper from Port of Lancaster Smokehouse grilled and served with lemon and parsley butter
- Poached smoked Finnan haddock with poached eggs
- Cold sliced baked honey roast ham with poached eggs
- Scottish smoked salmon from Port of Lancaster Smokehouse with scrambled egg served on toasted sourdough
